The CATACAL program is supplied to the user in both source and binary on the tape®
To generate a new binary file if the source program is modified., use the

following procedure®
1®

Load a DIAL-MS tape on unit 0®

DIAL-MS system tape®

Load unit

with either a DIAL-V2 or

If another tape unit is available, mount the tape

containing the CLEARSYM and CATACAL source programs there®

If only

two tape units are available, place the source programs on unit 0

(with PIP if necessary), in order to reduce the assembly time®

Type -^ZE^ to clear the binary Working Area of unit

GLEARS'YMi).

CLEARSYM is a two word program which produces a

clean symbol tabl.e®
