GENERAL
This IPB is compiled following the organization and nomenciature of the 2ngineering drawing structure.

MAJOR ASSEMBLY LOCATOR {When Applicable)

The Major Assembly Locator (first illustration) is an index that
provides a description and a figure reference for all illustrations used in this manuatl.

INDENTED PARTS LIST
This manual identifies each assembly bemng broken down {figure reference callout}. anag all parts of that assernpty. Further
breakdown of an assembly 1S Shown by an asterisk (*) preceding the item callouts in the Description Column. The number of

asterisks preceding an item is used to genote the suborgination of that item with respect to the Major Assembly. A singie
asterisk preceding an item description indicates that the item
is part of the major assembiy being illustrateda. !tems that are
subordinate to single asterisks items. are genoted by two as-

terisks ("""} and immediately foliow the raiated singie asterisk
item. This system of part igentification provides a means for
the user to identify the next higher assembly item and mgake
alternate selections for parts when the required replacement
part of assembly i1s not immediately availabie.

COLUMN CALLOUT DESCRIPTION
Figure and item - indicates the figure number and item number of each part.

variation codes assignsd in Figure 1. Parts with an Alpha notaticn.s) are used only In those option variations. A blank indicates that the part is used on all option variations.

each Maior Assembly. the numper in this column aenotes the
figure of the next migner assembiy . For all subassembles. the
