Digital Alpha VME 2100 Vertical Rackmount Bezel Installation Information

This document provides installation instructions for the front bezel of the Digital Alpha VME 2100 vertical rackmount chassis.

The kit includes the front bezel, four latch brackets, and mounting screws. The installation process involves two main steps:

1. Installing the Latch Brackets: First, the four latch brackets must be secured to the chassis frame using the provided screws. This step must be completed before the chassis itself is installed into a RETMA or IEC cabinet.
2. Installing the Front Bezel: After the chassis has been installed in the cabinet, the front bezel can be aligned with the four latches (attached in the previous step) and pressed onto the chassis until it snaps securely into place.

A special note advises that if an optional removable media storage device is installed in the chassis, the corresponding blank insert on the front bezel should be removed before the bezel is attached.
