Digital Alpha VME 2100 Drawer Rackmount Front Bezel Installation Information

This document provides instructions for installing the front bezel on a Digital Alpha VME 2100 drawer rackmount chassis.

Key Information:

• Prerequisite: The chassis must already be installed in a RETMA or IEC cabinet before installing the bezel. (Refer to the Digital Alpha VME 2100 Owner's Guide for chassis installation.)
• Important Note: If an optional removable media storage device is present, remove its corresponding blank insert from the front bezel before installation.

Installation Steps:

1. Grasp the front bezel by its flip-down pull tabs or sides.
2. Align the four strikes on the front bezel with the four latches on the chassis.
3. Press the front bezel onto the chassis until the strikes snap into the latches, securing it in place.
