MicroVAX 3100 Platform Options Addendum: RZ26/RZ35, RZ24L, and TLZ06 Drives

This document is an addendum to the MicroVAX 3100 Platform Options guide, published by Digital Equipment Corporation in August 1992.

Its primary purpose is to provide configuration and installation instructions for three specific hardware options in MicroVAX 3100 platform systems:

• The RZ26/RZ35-EK disk drive
• The RZ24L-EH disk drive
• The TLZ06-HG tape drive (which can also be installed in VAX 4000 BA42B enclosure systems)

The guide is intended for Digital Services personnel and customers with self-maintenance agreements, advising them to contact Digital Services for installation to avoid potentially invalidating their warranty.

For each option, the document details its description, ordering information, contents, instructions for setting its SCSI ID, detailed installation procedures, and diagnostic support. An appendix provides a list of related documentation.
