This document, the "VAXELN Host System Guide" (Order Number AA-JG87B-TE), serves as a comprehensive manual for using a VAX/VMS (Version 4.0 or later) or MicroVMS system as a host to develop, load, boot, and debug applications for the VAXELN real-time operating system (Version 3.0). It updates and supersedes previous versions of the guide.

Intended for programmers and students familiar with Pascal, C, or FORTRAN and basic VAX/VMS DCL, the manual details the entire VAXELN application development cycle:

• Host System Overview: Introduces the hardware and software components, including the VAXELN Pascal Compiler, System Builder, and Debuggers.
