TLZ06 Update Notice (DDS Media Differences)

This document provides updated information regarding DDS media cartridges for DIGITAL DAT loaders. It highlights that two types of cartridge shell designs exist: Type A (smooth) and Type B (slotted).

While Type B was designed for a better grip in manual loading, it performs less reliably than Type A in automated loaders (specifically the TLZ6L Autoloader). Consequently, due to the growing use of autoloaders, some manufacturers will be phasing out the Type B design.
