KDB50 Disk Controller User Guide

This document is a change notice (addendum) for the KDB50 Disk Controller User Guide (EK-KDB50-UG-001), published in December 1985 by Digital Equipment Corporation.

Its primary purpose is to update existing information in the user guide, specifically concerning the KDB50 backplane I/O assembly and its operating parameters.

The document accomplishes this by replacing two key sections of the original guide:

1. Table 1-1, "KDB50 Specifications," which provides detailed characteristics such as physical components, power consumption, heat dissipation, electrical requirements, operating temperature, humidity, altitude ranges, and mounting restrictions.
2. Figure 2-2, "Attaching The KDB50 Backplane I/O Assembly," which illustrates the installation process and component layout, including internal SDI cables, node ID plug, and transition segments.
