Classic Os/8 Basic, Version 2

This document describes the CLASSIC OS/8 BASIC software, a subset of the standard OS/8 operating system. It includes a system monitor with device handlers and the LA35m output printer option, all contained on a single flexible disk. The system comprises Concise Command Language (CCL) for terminal commands, PIP for file manipulation, FOTP for file transfer, and a BASIC compiler with a runtime system for programming. Minimum hardware requirements include a PDP-8A with 16K memory, an RX8 dual floppy disk subsystem, and a VT50 video terminal. Optional hardware support includes the LA35 line printer.
