This document outlines the command setup routines for the COMCON (Command Control) system, detailing various commands for managing jobs, devices, and system resources. It defines functions for initializing, printing, and terminating jobs (IJOB, PJOB, KJOB), and for starting job execution (START, STARTC). The system includes routines for continuing job execution (CONT, CONTC) and for initiating the DDT debugger (DDTGO).
Device and resource management commands are also described, such as CORE for allocating or releasing core memory blocks, SAVE for preserving job areas to retrievable devices, and GET for loading job areas from devices. The ASSIGN command allows assigning a physical device to a job with a logical name, while DEASSIGN removes such assignments. Finally, ATTACH and DETACH commands enable connecting or disconnecting the console to or from a specific job. Each routine includes comments detailing its purpose, parameters, and error handling.
