DEChub ONE Installation

This document is an installation and operational guide for the DEChub ONE.

It explains that the DEChub ONE, when combined with a DEChub 900 full-height network module, forms a single-slot hub, enabling the network module to operate independently of a larger MultiSwitch system.

The DEChub ONE supplies DC power and crucial connections to the network module, including:

• A setup port for module configuration.
• An Out-of-Band Management (OBM) port for network module management (supporting SNMP/SLIP).
• An Attachment Unit Interface (AUI) port for Ethernet connection to a LAN or backbone, either directly or via a Medium Attachment Unit (MAU).

The guide provides step-by-step instructions for attaching the network module, mounting the single-slot hub (for tabletop or rack installation), and connecting power and data cables. It details the use of the AUI, setup, and OBM ports, including pin-outs and recommended cabling.
