DEC 7000 AXP, VAX 7000 System Platform Service Manual

This document is the "DEC 7000 AXP System VAX 7000 Platform Service Manual," intended for Digital service engineers.

Its primary purpose is to provide:

• Configuration rules for various system components, including the main and expander cabinets, power and cooling systems, the LSB card cage, I/O interfaces, and different types of plug-in units (XMI, VAXBI, Futurebus+, SCSI Disk and Tape, DSSI Disk, and Battery).
• Instructions for the removal and replacement of Field-Replaceable Units (FRUs) within these systems, specifically for the H9F00-AA/AB/AC and H9F00-BA/BB/BC cabinets.

The manual covers procedures for cabinet doors and panels, cabinet control system components, power and cooling system elements, LSB card cage parts, and various plug-in unit components.
