This document is an installation guide for the Compaq StorageWorks BA370 Enclosure Universal Mounting Kit (DS-BA370-XB). It details how to install one or two BA370 enclosures into Compaq ESA 12000 (RETMA) or SW600 (metric) cabinets.

  • Cabinet stabilizer legs should be extended to prevent tipping.
  • All power must be removed from operational cabinets before installation.
  • An upper enclosure should not be installed unless a lower one is already in place or the cabinet is otherwise sufficiently weighted for stability.
