This document is a "Read Me First" guide for the Digital System Healthcheck for OpenVMS, distributed via CD-ROM.

It provides instructions on:

1. Installing and Running the Software: Users need to print the "System Healthcheck for OpenVMS User Information manual" from the CD (located in CD_DEV:[SYSTEM_HEALTHCHECK.DOCUMENTATION]), then install the software (from CD_DEV:[SYSTEM_HEALTHCHECK.KIT]) and run the tool by following the detailed instructions in the user manual.
2. Returning Collected Data for Analysis: Users must contact their local Digital Customer Support Center (CSC) for instructions on how to submit the collected data to Digital for analysis.
3. CSC Contact Information: A list of telephone numbers for CSCs in the U.S.A., U.K., France, Germany, Australia, and Japan is provided. For other locations, a CONTACT_LIST.TXT/PS file on the CD contains more numbers.
4. Receiving Results: Within 10 working days of Digital receiving the data, the user's local Digital CSC will send a copy of the System Healthcheck Report and an OpenVMS support specialist will call to discuss the report and any further requirements.
