This document describes DMPFIL, a utility program dated July 6, 1973 (Edition 2), designed to prepare printable octal dumps of user files.
Key Functions:
nnnnnnD): Dumps a DECtape block by block, starting at a specified octal block, and includes a directory listing.nnnnnnF): Dumps a disk file starting at a specified block (defaulting to 1 if /F is used, or 0 if /T is used).nnnnnnK): Dumps a save file as a core dump, starting at a specified location.nnnnnnH): Dumps a high segment save file as a core dump.nnnnnnS): Dumps the disk starting at a specified octal block using SUPER USETI.nnnnnnT): Stops the dump at a specified octal block.Operating Procedures:
