The Compaq AlphaServer DS10L is a compact 1U server designed for both rackmount and desktop configurations. It features a 600-MHz Alpha 21264A processor with 2-MB ECC cache and comes standard with 512-MB or 1-GB SDRAM, expandable to a maximum of 1-GB. The system includes dual onboard 10/100 BaseT Ethernet ports, an onboard dual IDE controller, and one full-length 64-bit PCI expansion slot.

For storage, it offers an internal 3.5-inch hard disk drive bay and an optional bay for either a removable media drive (combo 1.44-MB diskette/24X CD-ROM) or an additional hard disk drive, supporting capacities up to 80 GB IDE or 72 GB SCSI.
