HP OpenVMS DCL Dictionary 1

This document, the "HP OpenVMS DCL Dictionary: A–M" (June 2010 edition), is a detailed reference manual for HP OpenVMS DCL (Digital Command Language) commands and lexical functions, applicable to OpenVMS Version 8.4 on Integrity and Alpha servers.

It is the first volume of a two-part series, covering commands and lexical functions alphabetically from A to M. Intended for all OpenVMS users, the manual provides comprehensive descriptions, examples, and notes on any restrictions or special privileges for each entry. It explicitly excludes commands that invoke language compilers or other optional OpenVMS software products.
