HP OpenVMS DCL Dictionary 1

This document is the "HP OpenVMS DCL Dictionary: A–M," a detailed reference manual published in January 2005 for OpenVMS I64 Version 8.2 and OpenVMS Alpha Version 8.2.

Intended for all users of the HP OpenVMS operating system, it provides comprehensive information and examples for Digital Command Language (DCL) commands and lexical functions whose names begin with the letters A through M. The commands are listed alphabetically, while lexical functions are grouped in a separate alphabetical section after the JOB command.

The manual supersedes "HP OpenVMS DCL Dictionary: A–M, Version 7.3-2" and does not include commands for language compilers or other optional OpenVMS software products. Readers are expected to be familiar with the OpenVMS User’s Manual.
