Option Designation List

This document is a Designation List from September 18, 1974, cataloging equipment, options, and modules available from DEC. Items are sorted by model number, which follows a structured accounting format. Entries include details such as the equipment's intended use ("USED ON" column), the responsible Engineering Manager ("ENG MGR"), and the Manufacturing Area. Each item is assigned a status code (e.g., "Project Cancelled," "In Design," "Released to Production," "Obsolete") and the month/year of its last status or description change. Confidential items (Status 1 and 7) are excluded from the generally distributed list. The document also defines roles for Design and Production Engineers and provides category codes for different types of equipment.
