InfoServer Client for Open VMS LASTCP and LADCP Utilities Oct92

This document, "InfoServer Client for OpenVMS LASTCP and LADCP Utilities," is a manual intended for OpenVMS system managers.

It describes two primary utilities:

1. LASTCP Utility: This utility is used to configure the LASTport transport protocol on an OpenVMS system and to monitor its transport activity. It acts as the management interface for the ESS$LASTDRIVER, enabling users to start and stop the driver, display various counters (for circuits, lines, nodes, and transport), show node characteristics, list known clients and servers, display LASTport status, and reset counters.
2. LADCP Utility: This utility is used to load the LASTport/Disk driver and manage InfoServer device services. It allows OpenVMS client nodes to establish and remove bindings to InfoServer services, thereby creating virtual disk (DADn:) or tape (MADn:) units that enable access to remote InfoServer media as if they were locally connected.
