Set Memory Equal to Anything

This document describes DECUS Program Library program 8-85, titled "SET MEMORY EQUAL TO ANYTHING," authored by Roy S. Taylor of the Department of Defense in 1967.

The program's purpose is to quickly preset all core memory locations to any desired value specified by the user. This functionality can be used to clear memory or fill it with a specific instruction, such as HALT, across the entire system. Operation involves manually loading the program, setting switch register values, and inputting the desired memory content into a designated address (0015) before execution, which then propagates this value throughout all of core memory.
