Summary

This document is the official newsletter of the Digital Equipment Computer Users Society (DECUS), published in 1969. It contains administrative updates for members, including the hiring of a European secretary and announcements for upcoming conferences. The technical portion of the newsletter focuses on advancements for the PDP series of computers, including:

• Graphical Output: A detailed description of a remote time-share terminal using a PDP-8/L for graphical output capabilities.
• Software and Programming Notes: Technical contributions from users, including patches and modifications for the LINC-8 and PDP-8 systems (such as modifications to random number generators, high-speed reader/punch interfaces, and event counters).
