Teletype Conversion Routines

This document provides documentation for a collection of subroutines for the PDP-12 computer using the LAP6-DIAL language. These routines, which are intended to be added to user program source code, facilitate data conversion and input/output operations:

• BINDEC: A collection of subroutines that convert binary integers into decimal ASCII codes.
• DECBIN: A set of subroutines that convert decimal ASCII codes into binary integers.
• BINOCT: A set of subroutines that convert binary integers into octal ASCII codes.
• OCTBIN: A set of subroutines that convert octal ASCII codes into binary integers.
• TELETYPE: A subroutine that handles reading from the keyboard or printing characters via an ASR33 teletype.
• SERINDEX: A subroutine designed to search for a specific name within a DIAL Index.
