Pdp-12 Relay Register Test

This document outlines the diagnostic procedures for the PDP-12 relay register. The diagnostic package consists of three separate routines:

1. Relay Flip-Flop Register Test: A major diagnostic program that exercises the relay flip-flop register on a bit-by-bit basis.
2. RSW to Relay Test: A routine that transfers the contents of the right switches (bits 6 through 11) into the relay register, acting as a visual aid for signal tracing.
3. Relay Test: A routine that cycles the relay register at a 100-millisecond rate, allowing engineers to observe and test the electromechanical characteristics of the relays using an oscilloscope.
