This document serves as an update to the DECUS (Digital Equipment Computer Users Society) software catalog for PDP-8, FOCAL8, BASIC8, and PDP-12 systems, dated May 1975.

Summary of Contents:

• General Information: Provides guidance on ordering procedures, including payment methods (cash, coupons, or purchase orders), currency considerations for international users, and service charges for materials.
• Write-ups and Tapes: Outlines the policies and costs regarding the distribution of documentation (write-ups) and software on various media, including paper tape, DECtape, and magnetic tape.
• Catalog Indexes: Contains comprehensive category indexes for programs available for the various supported systems (PDP-8, FOCAL8, BASIC8, and PDP-12), organized by function such as programming systems, text editing, debugging, mathematical functions, utility programs, data management, hardware control, and games/demonstrations.
• Service Charges: Includes detailed tables listing the specific service charges associated with ordering individual software programs in different formats (paper tape, listing, DECtape, LINCtape, and magtape).
