PDP-8/E Diagnostic Programs Collection

This document contains instructions and specifications for three distinct diagnostic programs for PDP-8 series computers:

• PDP-8/E Extended Memory Parity Test (MAINDEC-08-DHMPA-A-D): Designed to detect parity failures on PDP-8/E memory systems. It uses a checkerboard pattern to test memory stacks (8K to 32K) under worst-case noise conditions, with automated program relocation capabilities.
• LS8E Line Printer Test (MAINDEC-08-DHLSA-A): Verifies the control interface and character generation of the Centronics Model 101 Line Printer. It allows for looping individual tests, inhibiting specific sections, and selecting different processor types (PDP-8, 8/I, 8/L, 8/E, or 12).
• RK8E Diskless Control Test (MAINDEC-08-DHRKA-A-D): Used to verify the RK8E disk control logic without requiring the use of a physical disk drive. It ensures the control hardware functions correctly by testing the logic in a "diskless" state.

Each section includes requirements, loading instructions using the Binary Loader, operating procedures via the Switch Register, and configuration options for customizing test flow and error reporting.
