Enterprise Storage Array Subsystem Description

The Digital Enterprise Storage Array (ESA) Subsystem is a fully integrated disk array solution designed for diverse enterprise applications. These solutions are offered in three pre-configured models (C, M, L), each optimized for specific workload requirements, from heavy transaction-oriented to bandwidth-intensive decision support. ESAs support RAID levels 0, 0+1, 3, and 5, with capacities ranging from 155GB to 10TB, and ensure high availability through fully redundant components.

The ESA architecture integrates StorageWorks RAID controller technology and includes the StorageWorks Command Console V1.1b, a versatile multi-platform tool for array configuration, monitoring (supporting SNMP), and management. The HSZ50 Array Controller Operating Software (HSOF V5.1) handles SCSI I/O requests.

Each ESA solution comes with 12 months of standard service and support, encompassing installation, RAID configuration, 24x7 hardware/software support, performance consultation, and software updates. Hardware components are covered by a one-year 24x7 on-site warranty, with extended return-to-factory warranties for specific parts. Software components include one-year 24x7 telephone support and a one-year software update service.
