MEMORY CHANNEL INSTALLATION CARD

This document is a quick reference guide for installing specific modules in Compaq Memory Channel systems. It covers the installation of CCMFB fiber optics and CCMLB linecard modules in three distinct configurations:

1. CCMFB Fiber Optics Module in a Virtual Hub Configuration (no hub present): This involves installing a CCMFB module into each system's PCI card cage, connecting them with BN34R fiber optics cables and BN39B link cables, and ensuring CCMAB jumpers are set for fiber operation.
2. CCMLB Linecard in a CCMHB Hub (with no fiber optics): This describes installing CCMLB linecards into a CCMHB hub, connecting them to CCMAB adapter modules using BN39B cables, and notes the default "fiber off" jumper settings for the CCMLB.
3. CCMFB Optics Module in a Standard Hub Configuration (hub present): This outlines installing CCMFB modules into a CCMHB hub (which requires replacing the endplate), connecting them via BN34R fiber optics cables, and linking them to CCMLB linecards using BN39B cables, with CCMLB jumpers set for fiber operation.
