B2012-Series CPU Module Installation

This document serves as an installation guide for the B2012-Series CPU Module. The B2012 CPU is based on the DECchip 21064 microprocessor, a CMOS-4 superscalar, superpipelined implementation of the Alpha AXP architecture. It features a 4-MB direct-mapping physical write-back cache and supports dual-processor (Symmetric Multiprocessing) configurations using a "snooping" protocol. Key specifications include a 190 MHz clock speed, a maximum power consumption of 47.8 W, and specific voltage (+5V, +3.3V), current, temperature (5-35°C operational), and humidity (10-90%) requirements. Installation involves inserting the first CPU into slot 0, and for SMP, a second CPU into slot 1, with a critical note that both CPUs in a dual-processor upgrade must have identical clock speed ratings.
