FCO CK-DELUA-M001, Potential safety hazard/improper fuse insertion

This Field Change Order (FCO) addresses a potential safety hazard identified in DELUA Interface Bulkhead Assemblies (P/N 70-18799) that use fuses, specifically concerning an improper fuse insertion in F1 of the Ethernet Controller Interface Bulkhead Assembly. The FCO, which implements ECO #5415552, mandates a rework for approximately 150 affected units.

The rework procedure involves removing existing wiring from the fuseholder and circuit board and replacing it with a new Fused Jumper Wire Assembly (P/N 70-22783-02). The installation is confirmed by verifying that the POWER LED illuminates after reassembly. Each unit's rework is estimated to take 0.9 hours. The FCO was released on March 15, 1987, with parts available from January 1987.
