This Field Change Order (FCO DECSK-AE-I001) addresses an issue with DECSA-XX variants in the United Kingdom where the 5-ampere fused power cord sometimes fails upon power-up. The recommended solution is to replace the existing 5-ampere power cord with a new 13-ampere, 250-volt power cord (Part Number 17-00209-05).

1. Powering down the DECSA unit by setting the console key switch and circuit breaker to "OFF."
2. Removing the old power cord and installing the new one.
3. Powering up the DECSA unit by setting the circuit breaker and console key switch to "ON."
