This Field Change Order (FCO A2150-0001/A2160-0001) addresses critical bugs found in the Standard I/O Board (B2110-AA or 54-23146-01, revision H03 or lower) of AlphaServer 2100 systems. The identified problems include dropped network packets, AUI cable length limitations, failure to run the ECU, missing timer interrupts, NVRAM data corruption leading to loss of environment variables, system hangs during EISA/ISA device configuration, and incorrect "SHOW TIME" and "SET TIME" command results.

The solution is to replace the problematic I/O board with a B2110-AA part revision "J02" or higher.
