FCO 871BA-R002, Retrofit VAX 8700 to rev "C1"

This Field Change Order (FCO 871BA-R002) outlines the procedure to retrofit all VAX 8700 systems to Revision Level "C1." Issued on July 10, 1987, with parts available the same month, this FCO addresses several critical issues and incorporates ECO BT-ZMAAD-C3-LK002 (New Part Rev V22E).

• Remote Port fixes for character loss and "Disable Local Console" command.
• Enabling I, U, and START commands to be initiated without requiring the machine to be halted.
