FCO 7XXX-F002, CCL module air pressure switch/Door catches

This document is a Field Change Order (FCO) outlining a rework procedure for VAX 7XXX systems equipped with CCL modules (P/N 54-20300-01, revision J03 or below). The FCO addresses two issues: an air pressure sense switch on the CCL module that causes intermittent system shutdowns due to false air flow loss indications, and rev. C01 door catches that impede cabinet door operation.

The solution involves two main parts:

1. CCL Module Rework: The existing air pressure sense switch on the CCL module is bypassed using a "Y" connector (P/N 90-09797-00), and the module's revision is updated with supplied Brady markers. This process requires electrostatic discharge (ESD) precautions.
2. Door Catch Replacement: All existing rev. C01 door catches are replaced with rev. D01 catches, requiring specific installation (pushed in for front, pulled out for rear) and subsequent adjustment of door rollers to ensure correct latch engagement. Foam tape sections on the doors also need to be removed.

The procedure requires a field service tool kit and an electrostatic field service kit. It must be performed concurrently with FCO 7XXX-F001. After the rework, the system's power and CCL operation must be verified, and power-up self-tests must pass successfully. The activity should be reported on the LARS form.
