FCO 58XMX-0001 (DAS) Rev B, Console code/parity logic/T1035 upgraded

This document is a Field Change Order (FCO 58XMX-0001) applicable to all 58XX systems. It addresses and fixes several problems: updating the console code to support multi-processing, correcting cache parity errors in the parity logic, and upgrading the T1035 module for ULTRIX V4.0 support (ULTRIX V4.0 is noted as a requirement for multi-processing).

The solution involves replacing existing T2025, T2026, and T1035 modules with newer revisions: T2025 Revision J3 or higher, T2026 Revision H3 or higher, and T1035 Revision F01 or higher. The FCO outlines a field installation procedure, which includes shutting down the system, removing and replacing these modules, and then powering up and performing diagnostic checks (RBD5 and RBD6 recommended) to ensure proper operation. This FCO, released on April 22, 1991, supersedes a previous revision from September 24, 1990. The estimated Mean Time To Install (MTTI) is 2 hours, requiring an FS TOOL KIT.
