- Focuses on tasks for System Managers and Operators.
- Details the VAX-11 DSM software installation procedure.
- Explains how to establish and manage VAX-11 DSM user accounts.
- Describes the operation and management of the DSM Job Controller and Journal Process in a multiuser environment.
- Intended for: VAX-11 DSM System Managers and Operators.
Appendices (A-C) provide additional information on error messages, the DSM Editor, and data structures.
This guide specifically states that it does not describe the language elements or syntax of the VAX-11 DSM language; that content is covered in the VAX-11 DSM Language Reference Manual. It assumes familiarity with core VAX/VMS concepts and system management.
