MicroVAX 3100 and VAXserver 3100 Owner's Manual Update

This document is an update to the MicroVAX 3100 and VAXserver 3100 Owner's Manual (EK-A0371-OM), providing specific revisions across several sections.

Key updates include:

• Shipping Contents (Section 2.2, page 2-2): Revisions to the description of the shipping carton contents, clarifying that the accessory tray is no longer a separate item and the "other two boxes" now contain "country kit and accessories."
• Figure 2-1 (Page 2-3): Changes to labels within the unpacking diagram, renaming "ACCESSORY TRAY CONTENTS" to "ACCESSORIES," removing the "Screwdriver" entry, updating the "DEC423 to RS232 Adapter" part number from H8571-A to H8575-A, and labeling the "TK50 Tape Cartridge" as "(OPTIONAL)." A new Figure 1 is provided to illustrate these updated contents.
• Installation Prompts (Section 2.7.1, page 2-17): Additions to the system setup prompts, including steps to verify the system time and an option to set DECwindows as the default windowing system.
• Post-Installation (Section 2.7.1, page 2-17): Clarifications regarding post-installation tasks such as backing up the system disk, tailoring the disk, registering Product Authorization Keys (PAKs), and the automatic SYSGEN process for recalculating system parameters.
