MicroVAX 3100-90/VAX 4000-100 Information Sheet

This document, an "Important Maintenance Information" sheet from July 1992 (Order Number: EK-M3140-IS. A01), provides instructions for configuring CPU modules in MicroVAX 3100-90 and VAX 4000-100 systems.

It states that when replacing a CPU module (P/N 54-21797-01), especially if replacing a KA50-AA (47ZBM-A9/B9) with a spare, firmware changes might be needed because all spare modules are pre-configured as KA52-AA (47DBM-B9).
