PrintServer 17/300 Printer Controller Firmware V 2.1 Upgrade

This document outlines the procedure for upgrading the controller firmware of the PrintServer 17/300 Printer to Version 2.1.

• Purpose: The upgrade is necessary for PrintServer 17/300 printers that boot from NetWare, requiring a minimum NetWare software version of 5.0. It is not required for PrintServer 17/600 printers.
• Contents: The upgrade kit includes two ROM chips, an antistatic wrist strap, and this document. Additional tools needed are a flat work surface and a flat blade screwdriver.
