DECnet for OpenVMS Network Management Utilities

This document, "DECnet for OpenVMS Network Management Utilities" (Order Number: AA–PV61A–TK), published in May 1993, serves as a command reference for managing DECnet networks on OpenVMS AXP Version 1.5 and OpenVMS VAX Version 6.0 systems.

• Part II: DECnet for OpenVMS DTS/DTR Utility: Describes the DECnet Test Sender (DTS) and DECnet Test Receiver (DTR) utilities, which are used to exercise DECnet software and test communication lines. It covers DTS command syntax and commands for connection, data, disconnection, and interrupt tests.

The document also includes several appendices providing supplementary reference information:

• Appendix A: Lists DECnet for OpenVMS circuit and line devices.
• Appendix B: Summarizes network counters for circuits, lines, and nodes, including X.25 protocol and server module counters.
• Appendix C: Describes various states and transitions for circuits, lines, and logical links, as well as X.25 DTE and server module states.
