H9A10/H9A15 Rack-Mounting Template for AlphaServer DS20E

This document provides a rack-mounting template and instructions for installing H9A10/H9A15 hardware into an AlphaServer DS20E cabinet.

Key Information and Requirements:

• The installation requires 8.75 inches (5U) of vertical height in the cabinet.
• The Compaq AlphaServer DS20E Reference Guide is also necessary.

Rack-Mounting Process:

1. Front: Starting at the front of the cabinet, align the template's hole pattern and mark the six holes where the mounting hardware will be installed.
2. Back: Turn the template over (or move it to the back of the cabinet), ensuring that the bottom hole marked on the back is at the exact same vertical location as the corresponding bottom hole marked on the front. Then, mark the eight holes for mounting hardware on the back.
